| abstract |
When a paste having a polymer material is subjected to a shearing force by a pump or the like, the paste is fibrillated into a clay and cannot be applied properly. Taking advantage of the fact that the polymer material is less likely to be fiberized when used below the glass transition point, a pump 22 and a part of an upstream pipe 26 are covered with a cooling device 128, and heat exchange in the cooling device 128 is performed. Thus, the paste PA is applied from the coating device 24 while maintaining the temperature of the paste PA passing through the pump 22 to be equal to or lower than the glass transition point of the water repellent material.
