titleOfInvention | Atom transfer radical polymerization method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent polymerization reaction inhibition, reactor contamination, corrosion, and alteration when performing atom transfer radical polymerization using an α-haloester as an initiator and copper halide as a catalyst in a stainless steel container. Provide a method. SOLUTION: When performing atom transfer radical polymerization using an α-haloester as an initiator and a copper halide as a catalyst in a stainless steel vessel, the amount of sulfur contained in the polymerization reaction mixture system is converted to weight as the amount of elemental sulfur. Therefore, the above-mentioned problem is solved. In addition, when performing atom transfer radical polymerization using an α-haloester as an initiator and copper halide as a catalyst in a stainless steel vessel, the amount of sulfur contained in the α-haloester is 10 ppm in terms of weight as the amount of sulfur element. The said subject is also solved by setting it as follows. [Selection figure] None |
