abstract | Disclosed is a fluorescent lamp in which an impure gas remaining in a glass bulb and causing blackening is discharged to improve the luminous flux life, and a lighting fixture using the fluorescent lamp. The fluorescent lamp 10 is obtained when the integrated value of the absorbance spectrum of the hydroxyl group absorber of 2500 to 3800 cm −1 is set to 1 at 100 ° C. in the analysis of the glass bulb 1 and the infrared spectrometer.
