titleOfInvention | Noble metal particle dispersion, production method thereof, display method and display element |
abstract | A novel noble metal particle dispersion that can be used for an electrophoretic display element and the like, a method for producing the same, and a display method and a display element using the noble metal particle dispersion are provided. A noble metal particle dispersion is characterized by containing silicone oil 10 and noble metal particles 9 dispersed in the silicone oil. The noble metal particle dispersion needs to exhibit color developability when dispersed in the silicone oil. It preferably has a coloring function. As the noble metal particles, gold, silver and the like are preferable. The display element includes a first electrode 2, a second electrode 4, a light control layer in which a noble metal particle dispersion liquid is sealed, and a voltage application unit. When no voltage is applied, the noble metal particles are uniformly dispersed and noble metal particles are dispersed. It is observed as the color of the particles, and when applied, the noble metal particles move to the second electrode side and the color of the first substrate 1 is displayed. [Selection] Figure 1 |
