abstract | An apparatus capable of efficiently producing a high-quality unicellular plant and a method for producing the same are provided. The apparatus includes an enzyme processing unit that converts a plant material that is an object to be processed into a single cell by enzyme processing. The enzyme treatment unit is disposed in the outer tube, the inner tube which is disposed in the outer tube, the liquid mixture containing the plant material and the enzyme is supplied, and a heating medium is introduced into the gap between the outer tube and the inner tube. An enzyme treatment temperature adjusting unit that maintains the temperature at a temperature suitable for enzyme treatment, a stirring member that is rotatably held around its axis in the inner tube, and a flow rate of the liquid mixture in a direction from one end to the other end of the inner tube A flow rate adjustment unit for adjusting the flow rate is included.
