titleOfInvention Electron emitter
abstract An electron-emitting device capable of realizing a high-density connection structure without causing deterioration of a vacuum environment and contamination of an electron source is provided. An electron-emitting device includes a vacuum vessel, an electron source that emits an electron beam, and a power feeding structure that supplies a voltage to the electron source. The electron source includes a silicon substrate. The power feeding structure 4 is disposed outside the vacuum vessel 3. As a result, it is possible to use the power feeding structure 4 in which the interval between adjacent wirings is reduced while preventing the deterioration of the degree of vacuum due to gas emission in the vacuum vessel 3 and the problem of electron beam emission due to contamination of the electron source. For this reason, more electron source arrays can be arranged at high density, and an image sensor with high resolution characteristics can be obtained. [Selection] Figure 1
