[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The present invention provides a fat-soluble organic solvent extract of acetic acid bacteria, preferably ethyl acetate extract of acetic acid bacteria, alkali-stable acetic acid bacteria lipid, N-acyl sphinganine, sphinganine, aminolipid or terpenoid compound. It is intended to provide a composition for suppressing muscle damage characterized by containing as an active ingredient. Furthermore, the present invention provides a composition for inhibiting muscle damage, comprising a fat-soluble organic solvent extract of vinegar, preferably an ethyl acetate extract of vinegar as an active ingredient.
