abstract | An object of the present invention is to be suitable for exposure with a laser beam having an emission wavelength in the range of 350 nm to 450 nm, high sensitivity, excellent storage stability, good dot reproducibility, and safe light properties. An object of the present invention is to provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate material which is excellent in quality. A photosensitive layer containing (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) a polymerizable ethylenic double bond-containing compound, (C) a sensitizing dye, and (D) a polymer binder on a support. In the photosensitive lithographic printing plate material, the photosensitive layer contains a compound represented by the following general formula (1) as the (C) sensitizing dye, and (A) a biimidazole compound as a polymerization initiator.
