A toothbrush handle is provided that is more comfortable during use, provides improved access to the back teeth as an option, and also helps indicate when it is desired to lightly brush the teeth. The invention includes a toothbrush head that retains an end proximal to the toothbrush handle, a distal end to the toothbrush handle, and at least one toothbrush bristle.
