titleOfInvention | Conductive pattern forming method and wire grid polarizer |
abstract | A conductive pattern forming method capable of easily forming an ultrafine conductive pattern, and a wire grid polarizer excellent in polarization degree are provided. A step of bonding a compound having a photopolymerization initiation site capable of initiating radical polymerization by photocleavage and a substrate binding site to the substrate, pattern exposure, and losing the photopolymerization initiation site in the exposed region. And bringing the radical polymerizable compound having an oil-repellent functional group into contact with the base material, and then exposing the entire surface only with light having a wavelength at which the radical polymerizable compound having the oil-repellent functional group does not absorb light. Exposure is performed, photocleavage occurs in the photopolymerization initiation site remaining in the non-exposed region at the time of pattern exposure, and a graft polymer is generated, and a graft polymer generation region and a non-generation region are formed on the substrate surface. A conductive pattern forming method in which the step of forming and the step of attaching a conductive material to the non-generated region of the graft polymer in this order, and the wire grid type polarization obtained by the method .
