titleOfInvention | Phase change marking system with release agent |
abstract | In an inkjet marking system and subsystem, a release agent that is less susceptible to reaction with ink and ink additives, ink components, paper components, and the like and does not cause image defects. The operating life of these systems is not shortened, and there is little impact on the operating costs incurred by both producers and consumers. In a phase change ink marking system, the release agent has the following general formula: A: CH 3 - (CH 2 ) m -CHR 1 - (CH 2) n -CH 3, B: R 1 β (CH 2 ) p βR 2 , C: CH 3 - (CH 2 ) m -CHR 3 - (CH 2) n -CH 3, D: Use a substituted polyolefin solution containing a blend of a single polyalphaolefin or polyolefin material with CH 3 β (CH 2 ) p βCH 3 .
