Magnetic nanoparticles with improved magnetic properties |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic nanoparticle that achieves a sufficiently high degree of magnetization at a small magnetic field strength. Magnetic nanoparticles comprising a metal oxide having a metal weight ratio of 50% or more and a hydrodynamic diameter of less than 200 nm and a polymer composite and having a large magnetic mobility are used as components and a supporting medium. To form by high pressure homogenization. The component metal oxides and polymers are treated in a support medium (generally using water) using high shear forces under pressures in the range of 500-1200 bar. The high-pressure homogenization not only provides a colloidally stable magnetic particle cluster with a diameter range of 200 nm or less, but also the metal oxide formed as a starting material at a small magnetic field strength of 50 Oe or less. Giving a magnetic moment greater than the magnetic moment measured for. The particles according to the invention are particularly suitable for use in the bioanalytical field, diagnostic field, bioseparation process and as a carrier material in high throughput screening. |
