An apparatus according to the present invention includes a radially expandable substantially cylindrical structure formed from a plurality of support members and forming a plurality of openings, and selectively integrated within the substantially cylindrical structure. At least one reactive material strand. The reactive material is configured to have a non-reactive state and a reactive state. The reactive material in the reactive state is configured to limit blood flow to the aneurysm.
