titleOfInvention | Use of viscoelastic compositions to treat increased intraocular pressure |
abstract | Viscoelastic media are useful for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of increased intraocular pressure in the human or animal eye, such as a medical device. The drug can be applied to the conduit so as to fill at least one scleral penetration conduit of the eye with the drug. In the eye in need of treatment, the medium also includes injecting the medium into the conduit so as to fill at least one scleral penetration conduit in a human or animal eye with a viscoelastic medium. It is also useful in methods of treating increased intraocular pressure. |
