Methods for stem cell amplification and differentiation |
abstract |
The present invention provides methods, media and devices for producing practical amounts of specific cell populations ex vivo by modulation of Opn and / or active Opn fragments. The present invention provides an ex vivo amplified HSC population for use in transplantation therapy and clinical and research activities such as drug screening, toxicity testing and other research activities. The provided methods, devices, and media are also provided to inhibit Opn binding to HISC and promote increased production of more differentiated cell populations. [Selection] Figure 1 |
