A mass spectrometer and a mass spectrometry method, wherein two separate samples are mass analyzed and then the relative intensity, concentration or expression level of one or more components, molecules or analytes in the first sample is second. Disclosed are mass spectrometers and mass spectrometry methods that are quantified relative to the relative intensity, concentration or expression level of one or more components, molecules or analytes in a sample. Relative quantification is performed probabilistically without the need to use an internal calibrator. |
