A device to analyze the interaction between target and probe molecules |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an elongate hollow tubular body for analyzing the interaction between a target molecule and a probe molecule, said tubular body having a through channel that allows flow-through of liquid and a support disposed at the open end. It has a body and a mouthpiece at the other end. In particular, it provides a flow-through array technology in the form of a 0.1-1 ml standard pipette tip associated with a disposable. A device with some markers pre-spotted can be used in a robot / liquid handling system that can manipulate the disposable chip. The robot / liquid handling system has the ability to perform all liquid handling steps with a syringe on the system, including the binding of markers in the flow-through array. Furthermore, all incubation steps can be carried out on a platform, which comprises an incubator device and an optical reader for analyzing the signal. |
