Forming head and method for producing a fibrous web |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a molding head used in an apparatus for producing a fiber web by depositing fibers on a conveyor belt, wherein a fiber supply unit is provided, and the fiber supply unit is opened in a fiber processing chamber. The fiber processing chamber has a lower deposition opening for discharging the fibers, and the meshing needle rollers with longitudinal axes oriented parallel to each other are disposed in the fiber processing chamber. It is arranged and the needle roller is of the type adapted to rotate about its respective longitudinal axis. According to the present invention, the meshing needle rollers surround the inner chamber, and the fibers supplied to the molding head during operation enter the inner chamber through the meshing needle rollers. The needle roller is arranged with respect to the fiber supply portion and the deposition opening so as to advance through the needle rollers that are also meshed with each other. |
