abstract |
A compound of formula (I) is disclosed. [Chemical 1] Where D 1 is the first dye moiety and its fluorescent properties can be adjusted to be suitable as a donor or acceptor in an energy transfer configuration, and D 2 is in the energy transfer configuration with said first dye. A second dye moiety suitable as an acceptor or donor, L is a linking group comprising 2 to 200 linking atoms and optionally including an enzyme cleavage site, and M is a fluorescent property of D 1 Enzyme cleavable group selected to regulate. The compounds of formula (I) can be used as reporter molecules for detecting biochemical cleavage events in assays that utilize fluorescence resonance energy transfer. [Selection] Figure 1 |
