abstract [Solution] The method for producing an absorbent polymer according to the present invention includes: i) a step of polymerizing an aqueous monomer solution to obtain a polymer gel; ii) a step of pulverizing the polymer gel to obtain gel particles; and iii) a step of drying the gel particles. And the gel particles after step ii) have diffusibility. The process for producing the absorbent polymer is characterized by a particularly efficient drying step iii), which allows a particularly gentle and uniform drying of the gel particles. The absorbent polymer and the products and articles produced from the absorbent polymer thus obtained have particularly uniform quality and certain physical and chemical properties.
