abstract |
Aluminosilicate zeolite and a substitution state called UZM-15 were synthesized. These zeolites are prepared by using as a template an organic ammonium cation having at least one organic group having at least two carbon atoms. An example of such a cation is the diethyldimethylammonium cation. The said template contains another organic ammonium cation, an alkali metal, and an alkaline-earth metal as needed. These UZM-15 materials are dealuminated by various processes to produce UZM-15HS compositions. Both the UZM-15 and UZM-15HS compositions are useful as catalysts or catalyst supports in various processes such as conversion of cyclic hydrocarbons to acyclic hydrocarbons and olefin oligomerization.
