The present invention provides a method of producing a plurality of polypeptides, such as antibodies or antibody fragments, in a eukaryotic cell using a single expression vector. The expression vector is engineered to contain two or more expression cassettes under the control of a single promoter, the expression cassette comprising two or more separate splices in its alternative splicing and desired ratio. It has a splicing site that allows expression as a gene product. Disclosed is the use of vectors for efficient expression of recombinant antibodies in eukaryotic host cells and the use of such antibodies in diagnostic and therapeutic applications. |
