The present invention relates to certain substituted N-phenyl-piperazine derivatives of formula (I), which are modulators of the 5HT 2C receptor. Accordingly, the compounds of the present invention are useful for the prevention or treatment of diseases or disorders associated with the 5HT 2C receptor (eg, obesity, Alzheimer's disease, erectile dysfunction and related disorders). Another aspect of the invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier in combination with at least one compound according to formula (I).
