Implantable prosthetic valve with non-laminar flow |
abstract |
A prosthetic valve device suitable for implantation in a biological duct is disclosed. The device is adapted to first crimp into an elongated configuration suitable for inserting a catheter through a biological conduit to a target location, and deployed by exerting a substantially radial force from within by the deployment device at the target location. A support stent composed of a deployable configuration adapted to be deployed in a state and an inlet end made of a flexible material attached to the support beam and providing a collapsible sagging portion of the outlet of the conduit; and And a valve assembly including a flexible conduit having an outlet. The support stent includes a plurality of fixed length longitudinally rigid support beams. When the flow can pass through the prosthetic valve device from the inlet end to the outlet end, the valve assembly remains open, while the collapsible sagging portion of the valve assembly collapses inward and becomes an obstacle to backflow , Backflow is prevented. |
