abstract |
The present invention provides a method for coupling a carbon-containing compound using a transition metal or transition metal complex on a solid support. The solid support can include alkaline earth metal salts including carbonates and sulfates. The transition metal can include palladium or nickel metal. The method can include combining the two carbon-containing compounds and the transition metal or transition metal complex on the solid support in the presence of a solvent, desirably an alcohol. |
