Implant systems (16, 18, 20 and 22) for fusing vertebrae include various shapes that can be stacked to accommodate different intervertebral spacing and curvature. The implants (16, 18, 20 and 22) comprise a polymer-bone complex having osteogenic properties. By selecting the appropriate set of shapes, the surgeon can adjust the overall shape of the implant before or during surgery to best match the shape of the intervertebral cavity for a particular patient. . |
