abstract The present invention provides a compound of formula (I) [wherein R 2 is amino, OR 4 group or —Y—R 5 group (wherein R 4 is hydrogen or C 1-4 alkyl, Y is C 1- 4 alkylene, R 5 is hydrogen, halo, hydroxy, C 1-2 alkoxy, C 1-2 alkoxy C 1-2 alkoxy C 1-4 , or an NR 7 R 8 group, wherein R 7 and R 8 Is independently selected from hydrogen, C 1-2 alkyl, hydroxy C 1-2 alkyl or alkoxy C 1-2 alkyl, or R 7 and R 8 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, a heteroatom And n is 1 or 2, and each R 1 is halo, haloC 1-2 alkyl, hydroxy, oxo, amino and C 1-2 alkylamino Heterocyclic derivatives] are independently selected from di -C 1-2 dialkylamino, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. These compounds have antithrombotic and anticoagulant properties and are therefore useful in human or animal therapeutic methods.
