titleOfInvention | Method for integrating and stabilizing DNA-containing components from biological materials |
abstract | The present invention relates to an improved method for integrating and stabilizing DNA-containing components in biological materials, particularly blood samples. The DNA-containing test material is partially lysed in a lysis binding buffer system, and DNA-containing components such as cell nuclei are bound to the functionalized solid surface. The system includes a lytic reagent and a solid adsorbent, the surface of the adsorbent being functionalized with a polymer of a polymerizable acid or derivative thereof, onto which DNA-containing components are bound. Organic or inorganic solid materials are used as carrier materials that can be functionalized. |
