abstract Lubricating coating compositions and methods of using the same are provided. Specifically, a composition suitable for applying a lubricious coating to a hydrophobic polymer surface is disclosed, wherein the polyolefin surface is repeatedly treated with a hydrophilic polymer solution and a crosslinkable solution. A method of repeatedly coating a polymer surface is also provided, the method including pre-treating the hydrophobic polymer surface using plasma energy.
