titleOfInvention | Reactor fuel rod |
abstract | A lower plenum is provided that does not use a machined recess in a tubular shim or lower plug. A fuel stopper (1) for a nuclear reactor, wherein a lower stopper (10) is hermetically fixed to a lower end of a tubular casing (2) of the fuel rod, and is disposed inside the casing (2). The provided part (10a) is in turn a first cylindrical part (11), a second cylindrical part (12), a third cylindrical part (13) and a third cylindrical part. Between the outer surface of the part (13) and the inner surface of the casing (2), a radial play of 0.1 to 0.2 mm is left for the gas passage. The columnar fuel pellet (3) rests on a substantially flat end face (14) provided on the third cylindrical part (13) in the inner part (10a) of the stopper (10). An annular space (16) for gas expansion between the outer surface of the second portion (12) in the inner portion (10a) of the stopper (10) and the inner surface of the tubular casing (2) is complementary to the fuel rod. Is formed. [Selection] Figure 2 |
