A method of concentrating material in a microfluidic channel network by moving the material into regions where the overall velocity of the material is reduced, resulting in the deposition of material in these reduced velocity regions. These methods, devices and systems, like the countercurrent flow method, use a static fluid interface to create velocity differences and concentrate material in microscale channels. |
