GlycoPEGylated follicle stimulating hormone |
abstract |
The present invention provides conjugates of follicle stimulating hormone and PEG moieties. The conjugate is attached through a complete intervening glycosyl linking group, which is covalently attached to the peptide and the modifying group. Conjugates are formed from glycosylated and non-glycosylated peptides by the action of glycosyltransferases. Glycosyltransferases link the modified sugar moiety on an amino acid or glycosyl residue on the peptide. A pharmaceutical formulation comprising the conjugate is also provided. Methods for preparing conjugates are also within the scope of the present invention. |
