abstract |
The present disclosure relates to an inventive method of inactivating viral pathogens, the steps of the method comprising: (a) providing a virucidal composition comprising a liquid medium containing less than 1% w / v cetylpyridinium chloride; (B) contacting the virucidal composition with a surface to be disinfected. The present disclosure further relates to an inventive virucidal composition comprising: (a) a liquid medium; (b) cetylpyridinium chloride dissolved in the liquid medium at a concentration of less than 1 wt / vol%; and (c).
