titleOfInvention | Industrial method for the separation and purification of fentanyl by reversed-phase preparative chromatography |
abstract | A method for the purification of impure preparations containing fentanyl utilizing the method of reverse phase preparative chromatography is described. A chromatographic column is loaded with a stationary phase, typically silica particles with organic ligands attached. At a load ratio of about 50 to about 150, the impure preparation is acidified and passed through the column. The column is typically eluted with an aqueous solution of acetonitrile to obtain purified fentanyl in a specific cut. |
