titleOfInvention Crystal growth equipment
abstract The present invention relates to a liquid crystal growth unit that normally includes a resistance heater for heating a melt (13) and an electric field coil (conductor) that generates an alternating magnetic field in a crucible (11), thereby energizing the melt with current. Is. According to the invention, a resistance heater is incorporated as a magnetic field coil, in other words formed by a hollow cylinder (1), in which a spiral, single layer current path is formed by a peripheral slot (2). The invention is also used to generate the moving magnetic field with the current required to heat the unit. For this purpose, a separate electric field coil or a separate power supply for a magnetic field is required. A resistance heater that also acts as a field coil incorporated as a coil component is a high temperature resistance and directly surrounds the thermal core of the unit, i.e., the melting region. Thus, the dimensions required to generate a magnetic field are minimal. The magnetic field does not spread beyond the outer wall of the crystal growth unit, and the outer wall can be incorporated as a normal iron outer plate.
