abstract The present invention relates generally to the field of nucleic acid analysis. Specifically, the present invention provides a method for typing a target gene using a chip with a support that is particularly suitable for use in nucleic acid hybridization. On this support, at least one of an oligonucleotide probe complementary to the target nucleotide sequence and the following oligonucleotide control probes: positive control probe, negative control probe, hybridization control probe, and fixed control probe One is fixed. Oligonucleotide probe arrays for typing HLA target genes are also provided.
