titleOfInvention Composition for treating fabrics comprising a photobleaching component and a fluorescent whitening component
abstract The present invention relates to a composition comprising a photobleaching component and a fluorescent whitening component having good compatibility. In particular, the present invention is a composition suitable for treating textiles, comprising a photobleaching component and a fluorescent whitening component, wherein the photobleaching component absorbs light and energizes the photobleaching component energetically. It is possible to form an excited intermediate, and the intermediate in which the photobleaching component is energetically excited activates oxygen molecules from its triplet oxygen electronic energy state to its singlet oxygen electronic energy state. The lifetime of the intermediate energized with the photobleaching component is greater than 50 microseconds, preferably greater than 100 microseconds, more preferably greater than 200 microseconds, and most preferably greater than 300 microseconds. A composition is provided.
