PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a catalyst remaining in a reaction product by post-treatment in a method for producing a polyoxyalkylene adduct by reacting a compound (A) having a hydroxyl group or an amino group in the molecule with an alkylene oxide (B). Provide a manufacturing method that is not necessary. SOLUTION: A compound (A) having a hydroxyl group or an amino group in the molecule and an alkylene oxide (B) are reacted in the presence of an inorganic porous material (D) chemically bonded to a tertiary amine or a quaternary ammonium salt.
