abstract The present invention provides a purification method capable of efficiently obtaining fully deodorized glyceryl ether. A purification method using a distillation column having a structure in which the central part of the column is divided into two distillation units, comprising a specific glyceryl ether, a low-boiling component having a boiling point different from that of the glyceryl ether, and a high boiling point as impurities. The crude glyceryl ether containing the components is supplied to one of the divided distillation sections in the center of the column, and the fraction (a) containing the low-boiling components, the fraction (b) containing the high-boiling components, and the purified glyceryl This is a method for purifying glyceryl ether, which is separated into ethers and the purified glyceryl ether is extracted from the other distillation section.
