titleOfInvention | Particulate matter combustion catalyst and method for removing particulate matter in exhaust gas |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for removing particulate matter in exhaust gas by using a filter carrying a particulate matter combustion catalyst that oxidizes and burns particulate matter at a lower temperature and at a lower temperature than conventional catalysts. The substance is collected, oxidized fuel, and exhaust gas is purified. SOLUTION: Filters 1 and 2 carry a particulate matter combustion catalyst, and the pressure sensor 4 and the temperature sensor 5 detect the deterioration of the catalyst due to the reduction in the oxidative combustion efficiency of the particulate matter, thereby detecting the catalyst deterioration. Accordingly, the fuel injection nozzle 3 is operated to inject fuel into the exhaust gas to oxidize and burn particulate matter, and the fuel consumption rate deteriorates when the operating frequency of the fuel injection nozzle 3 exceeds a predetermined frequency. Is detected and a signal is sent to replace with a new filter. [Selection] Figure 2 |
