titleOfInvention Gene detection method for atherothrombotic cerebral infarction
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene detection method for predicting the genetic risk of atherothrombotic cerebral infarction based on mtDNA haplogroup, and thereby prevent the onset of atherothrombotic cerebral infarction. By determining the genotype of a polymorphism in the coding region of the mitochondrial genome, 108 of Japanese people including 346 atherothrombotic cerebral infarction patients and 735 controls were identified. Are classified into representative haplogroups (F, B, A, N9a, M7a, M7b, M7c, G1, G2, D4, and D5). Statistical analysis revealed that haplogroup A is associated with atherothrombotic cerebral infarction. [Selection figure] None
