abstract Disclosed is a composition useful for controlling plant and animal parasitic nematodes, several fungal and bacterial diseases, and parasitic flukes. At least one chitin degrading agent or chitin degrading activity inducer obtained from microorganisms or chemical compounds and at least one chitin degrading agent or chitin obtained from microorganisms or chemical compounds are included. The cracking activity inducer and sulfur or sulfur inducer achieve effective growth inhibition in a significantly lower amount range when applied simultaneously than when applied individually.
