abstract An image forming method, an image forming apparatus, and an image forming program capable of imparting the texture and roughness of a printed material to a proof and maintaining the accuracy of proof plate inspection. This image forming method is an image forming method for proofreading printed matter in which an image is formed with halftone dots similar to a printed matter, and 10% is randomly obtained for ON pixels in binary data of a halftone dot image.
