abstract | An information display panel that can simplify processes, suppress damage to transparent electrodes, and can be suitably used for a film substrate, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. A display medium is sealed between two substrates, at least one of which is transparent, a voltage is applied between electrodes provided on each substrate, and an electric field is applied to the display medium to move the display medium. In an information display panel for displaying information such as images, the transparent substrate 2 on the observation side is composed of a film substrate, and the transparent electrode 6 is formed on the inner surface of the transparent film substrate surface facing the rear substrate. In addition, a configuration in which the color filters 12R, 12G, and 12B of the respective colors are formed on the outer surface of the transparent film substrate at positions corresponding to the transparent electrodes is formed by patterning the transparent substrate on one surface of the transparent substrate.
