titleOfInvention | Intermediate transfer member and image forming method |
abstract | Transferability (secondary transferability) for transferring a toner image on an intermediate transfer member to a recording medium is good, and residual transfer toner remaining without being transferred onto the intermediate transfer member can be cleaned well and repeatedly. Provision of an intermediate transfer member that does not generate cracks in its surface layer even when used. An intermediate transfer used in an image forming apparatus that primarily transfers a toner image carried on an electrostatic latent image carrier to an intermediate transfer member and then secondary-transfers the toner image from the intermediate transfer member to a recording medium. The intermediate transfer body has at least a base material layer and a surface layer, and the surface layer is represented by at least one of a reactive monomer or oligomer, a polymerization initiator, fluororesin particles, and the following structural formula. An intermediate transfer member comprising a silicone compound. [Chemical 1] [Selection figure] None |
