titleOfInvention Sulfur pentafluoride compounds and their production and use
abstract To provide a novel compound for introducing an SF5 group and / or a substituted silyl group into an organic compound. Furthermore, the safe industrial scale manufacturing method which manufactures the said compound is provided. SOLUTION: Formula: Wherein at least one of the substituents is sterically hindered. In Step I, vinylpentafluorosulfuranyl is formed as an intermediate by reacting a substituted silylacetylene with an SF5 containing halide. In Step II, hydrogen and halide in the intermediate are eliminated in the presence of a base to form the final product. [Selection figure] None
