abstract A means for analyzing lipoproteins in small amounts is provided. The present invention relates to a method for extracting a lipid-modified peptide from a sample by extracting the sample containing the lipid-modified peptide and the non-lipid-modified peptide with an organic solvent, and using the extraction method. The method for analyzing lipoproteins includes (a) a step of treating a material containing lipoproteins with a protease, (b) a step of extracting a sample treated with the protease obtained in the step (a) with an organic solvent, (c ) A method for analyzing lipoprotein, comprising a step of subjecting the extract obtained in the step (b) to mass spectrometry.
