abstract A linear A / D conversion can be performed at high speed without increasing the circuit scale. In a solid-state imaging device 1 having a plurality of pixels 101x that convert an incident light amount into an electrical signal, and a plurality of analog-digital conversion devices 12 that convert an analog signal obtained from the pixel 101x into a digital signal. The analog-to-digital converter 12 includes a comparator 102x that compares a reference signal (reference voltage RAMP) with an analog signal obtained from a pixel, and the comparator 102x is an analog signal obtained from a reference signal component and the pixel 101x.
