abstract |
An encoding error of an A / D converter is reduced. A cyclic type thermometer code or a normal thermometer code is input, and a digital average unit for reducing bubble errors of the input thermometer code by majority logic and output from the digital average unit. A logic boundary detection unit for detecting a logic boundary of the thermometer code; and an encoder unit for generating an output code based on an output signal from the logic boundary detection unit.
