titleOfInvention Inspection method for tables with identification symbols
abstract In order to give a table having identification symbols reliable enough to withstand computer use, a method for detecting errors by examining the entire table is provided. We focused on the fact that the design philosophy of the table appears in the arrangement of identification symbols (so-called names are symbols of the type) given from the meaning content, and there is a certain law. We have found that various standard tables can find a strong relationship in which the absolute value of the rank correlation coefficient reaches 1 between the identification symbol rank and the function variable indicating the meaning and the derived variable calculated from the function variable. The software that helps the visual inspection by detecting that the rank correlation is broken by incorrect input and making a characteristic notation has been devised. [Selection figure] None
